Pillar 1: The Metaphysical
Determining Purpose and Direction
The term "meta" is used to describe something "above" or "beyond."
Within the context of health, the metaphysical is concerned with the "intangibles" of life that necessarily lead to health.
What is meant by "necessarily" you might ask? It means the principles are derived from logic, and so they are a necessity.
Make no mistake, if your healthful efforts are solely focused on physical aspects, you will not make a sustainable change.
Perhaps you may be wondering, "What does the metaphysical entail?" Below are the main components of the metaphysical:

Purpose
If you do not have a purpose for your life, then necessarily, you lack direction. Purpose is the end goal or state (in philosophy this is known as telos) to which your life strives to achieve.
Thus, in lacking a future focus, we lack a direction in life. I need not convince you that an aimless life will lead to aimless results!
But my question to you is this: How much time have you devoted to determining your life's mission? When we purchase new vehicles or homes, we put a considerable effort in finding the "perfect match" based on our wants and desires. Yet these things are certainly not larger than life!
If you are like me, then you have probably wondered: "Why am I here on this earth? What do I seek to accomplish?" Without a doubt, there is a way to create a map for your life which defines your life purpose.

Direction
Direction is a derivative from purpose. While purpose is concerned with the end state that will be achieved, direction is reverse engineered from your desired end result to your current state. It is the detailing of systematic movement towards your ultimate desires. Thus, in forming two points, your current position as well as your future state, we can draw a line through these points and thus derive a direction from this exercise.

Infinity: The Spice of Life
If you have read this far, then likely you are interested in adding some spice to your life! Thankfully, we can accomplish this by adding an element to the above two aspects of metaphysical health: infinity.
Here is what I mean: Your purpose, no matter what it is, must be infinite; it must transcend time and carry on for
generations; it must leave a legacy. This is not time for being "reasonable" but a time to shoot for the stars.
Initially, the mind has difficulty in accepting this reality. We have been indoctrinated into settling for just enough, when the world is truly our oyster.

The Mind: A Temporary Fall of Ideals
While the mind has the capacity for rational thought, it is oftentimes irrational in judgement. In fact, the logical parts of our brain serve the lower emotional parts to enhance survival.
Similarly, since our minds have been trained to settle for "just enough" to obtain survival, the mind has great difficulty in accepting an abundant and infinite future.
Herein lies the fall of ideals with respect to the mind; the irrational thoughts regarding rational logic. Thankfully, through a continual cultivation, our minds can become unburdened from such constraints. Only then can we truly obey the above processes and live motivated.

Where the Mind Goes, The Body Follows Suit
So then, if our minds become unburdened from "mediocrity," and obtain infinite possibility, is it possible for the mind to impart this abundance to the body? Necessarily so, since mind and body are conjoined.
Make no mistake, if you desire freedom, you must first obtain a boundless mind, and from it, derive freedom for the body.

Where to Go From Here?
Perhaps upon reading the conditions of metaphysical health, you have enkindled a fire in your heart to strive towards abundance. Fantastic! As you can see, these states of abundance are innate; they were programmed into us at birth; we desire what we were never shown.
As I am sure you are aware, creating a state of abundance is no small task. Nevertheless, it is the call, the duty of every human to obtain our desires.
In order to fully expound on the road map to total health, I have created a program called The Foundational Program
It contains not only the aforementioned metaphysics, but 6 other essential components to total health. It is my life's work.
